CIBS maintains 40 breeding pigeons. Our foundation birds are Bayo, holder of a World Record for over the sea flight, three winners from SAFI 850 km (528 miles), the only lone bird from the Island Tan-Tan 550 km (342 miles). All of our breeders have won at least one long distance-over the sea race. Their first generation offspring are offered for sale. For second generation offspring, their grand parents must have won two, long distance-over the sea races. In order to obtain and maintain the specific qualities for long distance and over night racing, our pigeons have to meet the following criteria: Intelligence and orientation.
